KEVIN R. ANDERSON

KEVIN R. ANDERSON was appointed as a Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for the District of Utah in April of 1998, and he currently administers 5,000 active Chapter 13 cases. Mr. Anderson is a frequent speaker on Chapter 13 issues, including at a Presidential seminar in Washington D.C. on The Study of Financial Privacy and Bankruptcy, published in 2000, and as a presenter multiple times at the Department of Justiceis National Advocacy Center in Columbia, SC. Mr. Anderson has also served on a number of national Chapter 13 committees, and he is currently the Secretary for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT). Mr. Anderson headed a committee that created the National Data Center, a not-for-profit organization managed by trustees to provide creditors with electronic access to national Chapter 13 case information (see www.13datacenter.com). Prior to his appointment as Chapter 13 trustee, Mr. Anderson practiced for thirteen years in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis in civil fraud, real property, and representing Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees. Mr. Anderson clerked for the Honorable David N. Naugle, Central District of California, and before law school, he worked for General Electric as a computer programmer in their jet engine test division.
