KEITH M. AURZADA

KEITH MILES AURZADA is an attorney at Powell Goldstein LLP in Dallas Texas. His practice is devoted to the representation of debtors and creditors in complex financial restructurings. Mr. Aurzada has acted as counsel for unsecured creditors committees, secured creditors and debtors. He has served as counsel to both banks and non-bank lenders, and special servicers of commercial mortgage securitized trusts. He has served as debtor's counsel for companies involved in numerous industries, including diagnostic health services, retail, manufacturing, health spas, oil and gas exploration, and commercial construction. A primary focus of Mr. Aurzada's practice is the representation of companies in need of financial restructuring accomplished by negotiation, litigation where necessary and through the bankruptcy process. These representations have included all aspects of the Chapter 11 process and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Aurzada lectures frequently on a variety of bankruptcy topics before bar associations and professional organizations and is a contributing editor to Norton's Bankruptcy Law and Practice.* He was named a Rising Star in Bankruptcy & Workouts in the July 2004 and July 2005 Texas Super Lawyers editions of Texas Monthly. Mr. Aurzada received his Juris Doctorate degree (with honors, Order of the Coif) in 1996 and Bachelor of Science degree in 1993, both from the University of Wyoming. Mr. Aurzada is admitted to practice in the State and Federal District Courts of Colorado, Texas and Wyoming, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 5th and 10th Circuits, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
