KATHLEEN A. LEAVITT is a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for the District of Nevada, Las Vegas and was appointed to that position in 1981. She served as a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee from 1981 to 1992 and has administered State District Court receiverships and probate estates. She is past president of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT) and was Chairman of the NACTT Liaison Committee to the Internal Revenue Service. Kathleen has written articles for bankruptcy publications including the ABI Journal and has been the editor of the NACTT Quarterly American since 1998. Mrs. McDonald attended California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, CA and California State College, Bakersfield, CA and University of Nevada, Las Vegas, NV and earned a Liberal Arts degree in Elementary Education.
